Joe has over 35 years of experience in the petroleum industry as an exploration geophysicist in seismic interpretation, prospect generation and regional play analysis. His experience spans both domestic and international capacities.
He has extensive experience in evaluating both 2D and 3D seismic data sets, utilizing either Unix or PC-based workstations through the evaluation of regional, prospect and development-based opportunities. Joe’s skills also include practical experience in seismic acquisition, seismic processing and potential field analysis.
His career includes 16 years of international experience with over 7 years living and working abroad in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. Varied experience with domestic and international exploration plays include: Gulf Coast U.S., Michigan Basin, OCS California and Alaska, Nigeria, Ghana, Madagascar, Trinidad, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Professionally, Joe is Member of A.A.P.G., S.E.G., Geophysical Society of Houston, and the Houston Geological Society.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Western Washington University.
