The company is still confident that it will soon secure acreage in the basins of Ghana to being the development of the oil and gas block it has been pursuing.
OFFSHORE locations of interest: Tano Basin, Saltpond Basin, and the Voltaian Basin of major interest to OS Petro as we have already conducted seismic review of the hydrocarbon composition of the basins. We have interest in seeing Ghana’s progressive development of all its basins and we intend to explore major possibilities in each with the Energy Ministry of the country.
Date of Ghanaian offshore interest initiation: Since November of 2013, OS Petro has invested resources in learning about the Ghanaian oil and gas basins and its rich reserves that are untapped yet. Major discoveries have made Ghana an Oil and Gas economy, but the benefits of this sector haven’t made the level of contribution that was anticipated. OS Petro is poised to bring a strategy to help consolidate all the marginal fields within the basins to bring forth great value to all parties looking to benefit from the fields within the country’s basins.
