OS Petro, Inc., a US based Oil and Gas operating company has initiated it development of the relationships required to introduce its brand into the Oil Marketing Services sector in 9 African countries starting with Ghana as its pivotal entry into the downstream sector. The company has restructured its focus in the industry to become a competitor in the growing marketing sector and is determined to setup operating service stations across Ghana starting from the deprived zones of the country.
The company intends to open its first Gas Station in the Western Region through the acquisition of several existing OMC stations that lack the capital resources to keep their business sustained. The identified opportunities in the industry in Ghana, and the availability of petroleum stations for acquisition necessitated the companies strategy update to enter the downstream sector which deals directly with the consumers within each community.
“The operating cost of developing an OMC brand and the benefits of growing our brand to attract the interest of consumers based on the services we intend to offer them brought about our interest in pursuing the right licenses to enter into the Oil Market Company sector in Ghana”, stated the founder and CEO of the company Dr. Kenneth Ekow Andam.
